Lost in translation..

A quick note: the kids provide a lot of funny translations. One of the kids told another teacher "Stomach out, stomach out." Two seconds later he threw up all over the classroom. A couple of days ago my kids asked what the English word for "poo air" is, which is a huge joke in what seems to be all of Korea. And yesterday they asked for my favorite translation: "What is the word for 'water poo'?"

No kids in the near future Auntie Linda... Or else we'd have a Korean baby!! And for you, mom and Andy, it's not just the kids that think farts and poo are funny. It's everybody in Korea. A few folks were in a cab speaking in English and one of the guys called another guy a "fartmaster" in Korean. The cab driver went nuts and started laughing hysterically. Fart humor is everywhere here...I guess you could say it really permeates the air, if you know what I'm sayin'.
