Where's the Red Bull?

A quick lesson about quickie mart drinks in Korea: Koreans are not deceptive when naming. If it is called Pine Tree Drink, it tastes like a pine tree. If it is called Cinnimin Ginseng, it tastes like cinnimin ginseng, which, surprisingly, is as bad as it sounds (it tastes like dirty raisins). I miss the ambiguous American names like Red Bull and Rockstar. But I guess if those drinks were in Korea they would be called Synthetic Piss or Plastic Cotton Candy. Well, I'm off to try some Fish Onion Drink. Annyongi Kayseyo.

Goodbye, dear friends

Hello, dear friends. Afer finishing school and becoming responsible citizens in the American work force, we've decided that it was time to put off real life a little longer. We're too young for such things, and if we wanted to travel, this was the time to do. So we've sold all our belongings, packed up, and hopped a flight to South Korea.

For the next year we will be living and teaching English in Incheon, South Korea, an hour outside of Seoul. Our neighborhood is called Yeonsu-dong, and our school is LCI Academy. We'll be teaching kindergarten to 13 years old. We are also living in a 3 bedroom apartment, so if anyone wants to travel...

Hope all are well. We'll keep you posted.
